Shires Copper Lozenge Sweet Iron Snaffle uses sweet iron to encourage salivation and acceptance of the bit.

Often used for younger horses as the sweet iron gives off a nice taste and warms up when in the horses mouth so encourages the horse to accept the contact and bit. The loose ring allows movement in the horses mouth and the lozenge allows even pressure across the tongue, so avoids the nut cracker effect.
