Hello there! We recently rescued an abandoned cockerel from a hedge, but this means (as we understand it) that we cannot feed our poultry layers pellets, because the calcium will poison the cockerel. Can Chick Grower Pellets be used as a general feed, with oyster shells offered separately to provide the calcium needed for the hens? If not, can you suggest an alternative? Also, we used to but kibbled maize (that is, maize only without the wheat). Are you planning to stock this in future? Thanks for your time!
